Last month, Sony Ericsson was filed the XPERIA™ trademark and some rumors out there said that this XPERIA™ will be a new series released by this Swedish-Japanese joint company. On 10 February 2008 at Mobile World Congress, Sony Ericsson officially announced a new XPERIA™ X1 phone, first model released under XPERIA™ series. X1 come with large 3-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels. Built-in with Windows Mobile® platform inside, that mean more programs and games will be compatible with this phone compared to UIQ platform that was used by some of the Sony Ericsson phones before.
