Wow you must think that this application is amazing. Now this pictures wildly spread on the internet, Sony Ericsson Kokura. This smartphone said based on a Symbian S60 5th Edition, large screen and has 12.1 Megapixel camera. No further information about this phone, but is this Kokura actually that Idou – or what?

Sony Ericsson has confirmed to release a new smartphone, which is powered by Android 2.0 operating system by Google. This Android-2.0-powered smartphone said to have more multimedia support, said Sony Ericsson Vice President of Marketing – Peter Ang.

This phone will not happen so soon, but a part of future plan. Peter Ang also said that Sony Ericsson will continue to develop a phones based on Symbian OS and Windows Mobile.

Sony Ericsson has patented a new patent, titled “Generating music playlist based on facial expression”. This patent is all about how the custom playlist will be built based on users mood. The mood wil be captured by using the front camera – facial recognition – to build a custom playlist depending on the listener’s mood. The concept just like SenseMe application.

While Nokia remain its lead in this industry with 36.2% market share, Samsung the second with 19.1% market share, LG the third with 9.9% – Motorola re-take the forth place from Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson now only hold 5.4% market share compare to Motorola which is 6.2%. Seems like 2009 is bad year for Sony Ericsson.
