Sony Ericsson W580i got a new color, Velvet Red. This make the overall colors for W580i are 6 colors. The latest previous color released for this W580i is Jungle Green.
From left, Urban Grey – Jungle Green – Metro Pink – Boulevard Black – Style White.

i brought a metro pink one in june and it got nicked when i was on holiday’ pretty soon i’m getting a jungle green one on contract so it should be alryte if i lose it. i was wondering becos i have a choice between white and green. which one do you think would be bettah ?

absolute rubbish.
i had it for 8 months.
+ it broke.
pretending it didnt have a memory card in it.
all the buttons cracked.
the up, back + select button broke.
was a good fone whilst it lasted but brakes way too easily.
wouldnt reccommend to anyone.

i bought this one november last year 2007 pink edition and i have returned it 4 times because the keys broke the back key broke off it a nice phone onley if it worked

I just bought it in velvet red! It’ll arrive on wednesday, I”m soo exited!!!! Alot of people say that it breaks easily??? I hope it won’t, but since I’m always careful I don’t think it will. By the way, if you buy it without contract from sonyericsonshop in Germany it costs 219 euros. Go to otto.de and you’ll get it for 111-150 euros ( only available till end of november, I think?)

Sony has apparently switched manufacturers for this phone. If you have a red one the keypad should be okay. Other colours – you need to check the manufacturing date – anything after February 2008 should be okay – before that the keypad was prone to cracking – right down the middle.

i even have a velvet red W580i now…before i used to have pink…bt i dnt like the colour so i ordered a red cover case from ebay….u cn also get one if u want..its cheap enough to afford and arrives to any destination within 2 weeks… new phones are also available… hope u cud get one!!
