The Sony Ericsson W580i is a sleek, slim, street-style slider phone - and portable music device. Tempting to touch, designed to impress. This phone is wonderful. You do not have to open the slider in order to answer the phone. In my case, some people could hear the phone rubbing against my cheek,so I do slide it open, but it’s not a necessity. You can customize whether you want phone to answer when slid open, end call when slide closed, etc. Phone also automatically locks so you won’t make calls accidentally.

The keypad is fine to me. I text a lot, and while it does seem thin, it does by any means seem fragile to me. The earphones are wonderful. And when i use them to talk, people can still hear me great. Screen is beautiful, lighted colors on side are cool. Slider is very fluid yet sturdy - I can open/shut the phone 1-handed. Ok let we look at the real features of this cell phone:
