As predicted before after few rumors, two new mid-range phones was officially announced by Sony Ericsson on 23 April – Sony Ericsson Z780 and G502. Some rumors said that this announcement was an effort from Sony Ericsson to distract investors from their 48% profit downturn compared to first quarter last year.
